Before you read
Section titled “Before you read”- A backtest replays your strategy on past market data. It shows what your rules would have done then. It does not tell you what will happen next.
- Results are shown before costs. The results screen works out the government charges for your trades and lets you subtract them with one tick. You can also add your own brokerage and slippage there.
- Every page in this guide was checked against the app when it was written. If something on your screen looks different, tell us, and we will fix the page.
